Lonely Planet review for Sam’s Café
On Vivek Hotel’s ground floor and (more atmospheric) rooftop, Sam’s does cracking breakfasts and is a tranquil place to hang; usually packed with travellers. The pizzas are a good bet.

Cheap and quiet

I went here a few times when I was in Delhi because it was so cheap; although I think that some of the other rooftop places are better. The breakfast was really disappointing but the cheese and tomato pizza is quite good. Unlike other rooftop places Sam's doesn't really have much of a view but most of the terrace is shaded and it has fans.

Sam´s cafe is located at a rootop on the famous Main Bazaar. You can get good food here and it´s really cheap. My favorite dish is Chicken Stroganoff. A dish with boneless chicken pieces, rice and vegetables in Stroganoff sauce.

I am a regular at Sam's whenever I am in Delhi. They have a wide selection to choose from but I mostly order the Rum Steak... Great atmosphere in the night with alot of fellow travelers around.. Cheers..
