Lonely Planet review for Sound & Light Show
Each evening (except Monday) this one-hour show gives Red Fort history the coloured-spotlight and portentous-voice-over treatment. It’s great, if only to see the red fort by night. Tickets are available from the fort’s ticket kiosk. Bring mosquito repellent.

Better than visiting during the day
orangesky1 recommends this,
I'd been to the red fort during the day before and found it so crowded that it wasn't very enjoyable. At the night, the fort looks beautiful and because it's not over-run with tourists you get a much better feel for how the fort would have been in it's glory days. The show itself was quite informative and interesting if, like me, you want to learn something about Delhi's fascinating history! Not to mention that if you're strapped for cash then it's a cheaper way of visiting the fort!
