Lonely Planet review for Queen’s Restaurant
The rustic, tribal decor in this cosy restaurant complements its lip-smacking Indian fare, especially the vegie dishes.

Getting the Punjab to South India
apusworld recommends this,
Punjabi restaurants aren't rare in Bangalore, not at all. Every other locality has a restaurant or two that claims to serve "authentic" Punjabi cuisine, though the food tells a different story. Greasy curries and over-cooked naans does not Punjabi make! Now, if I say that Queens serves up a fantastic tandoori meal, you don't just have to take my word for it. Head over to Church Street and the crowd pacing the pavement restlessly, tells its own story.
If you are looking for bells-and-whistles Punjabi, with the fancy cutlery and garish decor that passes for 'ethnic', Queens is not the place. But, if you are willing to sit down and focus solely on your food and forget your surroundings and other such superfluous things, Queens is your kind of place. It's not that the ambience is poor, it's just that no one cares when you are tucking into the phulkas, naans, chole or bhindi masala here. Spicy and flavourful without being just chilli powder sprinkled on sabzi, the food at Queens is the star and all regulars know that. There is also some fantastic lassi to wash down all that food you can't help eating.
