Blog: robbo joy (and now also slam) - 1 July 2009
this is the first installment of foodie call- a discussion of all things food related during our trip. in today's discussion i will be covering the food we had in iceland. prior to our take off for iceland, we read and heard from multiple sources to try something we never thought would be 1. popular and 2. good in iceland. take a wild stab at it. i'm pretty sure 99.99% will not mention the amazing hot dogs. yes, you read right. apparently hot dog is a must have item in iceland. it's not like "oh. you should try the hot dogs. they're pretty good."

Such A Nice Land
Blog: Bec and John in the UK - 13 March 2009
Credit Crunch. Economic slowdown. Financial crisis. It would not be an exaggeration to say that every British TV and print article in the last 6 months has contained one of the above phrases, or alluded to it with the classic "... in the current climate". The once-proud nation of Iceland copped an absolute spanking from the world's financial institutions and is quietly licking its wounds, probably hoping to get on board with the Euro and regain some stability.

Reykjavik, Iceland
Blog: Patrick and Katrina do the Globe - 19 February 2009
It was approaching 8:30am on a mid-February morning as we pulled into the city of our latest travel adventure.
