Itinerary

Day 1 Reykjavik
Welcome to Reykjavik, the world’s northernmost capital. Explore the city’s vibrant art scene, tuck into some local delicacies or learn about the nation’s beginnings at the National Museum.
Day 2 Hvolsvollur
Get an enhanced appreciation of the city on a guided tour around its landmark attractions and points of interest. Pass Þingvellir, one-time location of what is ostensibly the world’s oldest parliament, on the road to the Geysir geothermal area. Watch natural hot springs bubble and spit and see Gullfoss – the Golden Waterfall.
Day 3 Gerdi
Visit the eerily beautiful Skogafoss waterfall and, weather permitting, see the rainbow regularly produced by its mist. Take in more of the country’s renowned South Shore wonders on the drive to Gerdi, including the rocks of Reynisdranger, the lava fields of Laki and Glacier Lagoon.
Day 4 Skaftafell National Park
Stop by Skaftafell National Park for some unforgettable time spent in the company of Vatnajokull - Europe's biggest glacier. Enjoy a 2-hour walk across the glacier’s ice-strewn expanse to get a true sense of its scale. Lunch in the village of Vik before arriving back in Reykjavik.
Days 5-6 Reykjavik
Experience more of Reykjavik through any number of optional activities and excursions. Pay a visit to the famed hot springs of the Blue Lagoon, set out whale watching or simply suss out the local bar and café scene.
