    Like a 7/11 but less interesting...

    There are a number of these around town and yes they are convenient: open 24 hours, sell most basic needs and a variety of junk food. However, there is not a reason I can think of why this chain should be rated #1 for shopping in Reykjavik. There is nothing here you won't find at a 7/11, so why not try something with a bit more local flavour.
