Indian Mango specialises in Goan food, serving beef, duck, fish and some vegie mains. Its chef – poached from a five-star restaurant – makes up light, spicy, delicious dishes. Its bestselling (seasonal) creation is an Icelandic-Indian hybrid completely unique to this restaurant – svartfugl (guillemot) marinaded in Indian spices.

    Best Indian restaurant I have been to

    I have been to many Indian restaurants in many countries and eaten in lots of Indian homes and I can say that Indian Mango is my favorite restaurant, amazing food, completely authentic, smooth relaxing atmosphere and very personal and quick service.

    We went to the Indian Mango for my fathers 50th birthday it was a lovely meal we had the Guilemot, Arctic Char, Mixed Grill, and a curry with coconut sauce. It was absolutely delicous and a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

    The food was delicious and tasty - the best Indian food we have ever had, the ambient was very warm and relaxing, the owner of the restaurant, who also served us, was friendly, talkative and so interesting. A "must go" when in Reykjavik!

    One of the most charming and delicious restaurants in Reykjavik. We were impressed with the friendly staff and the excellent service. The owner, George welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel like home. And the most important, the food was so amazing and tasty! It was the best place to spend our anniversary in Iceland!

    A Hot meal prepared at a Kings level !

    I am happy to have dinned two nights at the exclusive Indian Mango Restaurant in Iceland .I had the Mountain Lamb grill dish along with the delicious Tiger prawns as a starter ! The food is amazing ,great value and the service from the Owner Mr George Holmes was of 5 star service level ! I strongly reccomend when travelling to Iceland to have a night out at the Indian Mango .The food consists of Icelandic meal ,ingredients and prepard in a fine Goan way !Excellent .

    Abbiamo cenato all´Indian Mango di Reykjavik la settimana scorsa. Da sempre amanti della cucina indiana, dopo aver provato diversi ristoranti indiani in giro per il mondo siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla varieta´ dei piatti offerti (spiccano fra tutti quelli senza glutine) e dalla qualita´ della cucina. Atmosfera carina. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

    Indian Mango, the real deal. . .

    We went to Indian Mango with some guests and were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience we had. Perfect quiet atmosphere after a day of sight seeing with excellent service. Apparently in Iceland good service is hard to find but not here.

    The food was as good as any Indian cuisine I've ever had if not the best. We had chicken and lamb, both simply mouth watering with amazing flavors. They have plenty of wines although I'm not a wine drinker but I did like that fact that they are gluten free and service lactose intolerant guest as well, again, neither of which I needed.

    Indian Mango was the perfect ending to a perfect day of wonderful sight seeing. I know we'll go back before we leave. As you can guess I highly recommend it.

    On our trip we visit Indian Mango. It was an awesome experience. The food was awesome. The chicken was very good. The sauce was even more amazing. The atmosphere was excellent. Nice soft Indian music on the background.
    The service was excellent. The waittress worked very hard and they were very friendly. If I have the chance I would for sure come back
