Outside the city centre, this unpretentious three-storey hotel has decent, comfortable rooms. It's a short bus ride or a 15-minute walk to the centre.
No relation to the singer, Hòtel Björk is a decent option if you can't snag a room right in the centre. Here you'll find nicely set rooms with good beds, big windows, carpeting (in rose or blue-green hues) and warm lighting. It should be mentioned that none of the rooms have true double beds - just twins pushed together, but this is not uncommon in Reykjavìk. Guests can plug in - wireless Internet is still on the way - or use the flat-screen computer in the lobby. The rooms have sleek modern bathrooms and a handful of them boast sea views.
