    A very Icelandic experience.

    avastra recommends this,

I experienced this outside pool in March after an overnight blizzard had covered Reykjavik in snow. The experience of swimming a few lengths among pile of snow (the pool was heated) and then very quickly going over to one of the "hot pots" for a warm soak was amazing. The place is rather run down but very genuine, all locals and a real Icelandic experience. I think going at night (the pool stays open 'till 22 pm, and sitting in the dark with night sky over head is fantastic experience, especially if you're in Reykjavik in the winter.
