Train
Szeged is on a main train line to Budapest's Nyugati station (2030Ft, 2¾ hours, 190km). Another line connects the city with Hódmezővásárhely (346Ft, 35 minutes, 30km) and Békéscsaba (1004Ft, two hours, 95km), where you can change trains for Gyula (1212Ft, three hours, 115km) or Romania. Southbound local trains leave Szeged for Subotica in Serbia and Montenegro twice daily at 6.20am and 4.25pm.
