Lonely Planet review

The Great Hall and the chapel of the Archbishop’s Palace built in 1766 contain magnificent frescoes by Franz Anton Maulbertsch, but you won’t get to see these unless a concert is being held. More than 100,000 volumes, including 13th-century codices and a Bible belonging to Martin Luther that is annotated in the reformer’s hand, make the Archbishop’s Library here one of the most impressive in Hungary.
