Perched high on the hill overlooking the vineyards and the lake is Kisfaludy House, a charming stone cottage built in 1798 that was once a press house of the Kisfaludy family. Views are impressive and food reflects the usual regional specialties from the lake, such as pike perch in breadcrumbs, grilled goose liver and cold fruit soup, plus a good selection of Central European staples like Wienerschnitzel and Cordon Bleu. They also offer excellent wine-tasting menus – the flights of local wines are served with cheese nibbles.
