Lonely Planet review for Corvin Film Palace

A restored art deco building, the Corvin Film Palace lies at the southern end of Kisfaludy utca, in the middle of a square flanked by Regency-like houses. This square saw a lot of action during the 1956 Uprising. Note the two wonderful reliefs outside the cinema and the monument to the Pesti srácok, the heroic ‘kids from Pest’ who fought and died here.
