Hungarian cafeteria food? Well, ok then...

    julieslo recommends this,

Contrary to what all printed guidebooks may tell you, there is no pizza at the Central European University Cafeteria.
If you're curious to experience the Hungarian spin on providing a wildly international student body with food, then certainly, pay a visit to the CEU cafeteria and witness its not altogether failing attempt at between-class fuel. The gnocchi, when offered, will be overcooked and paste-like without fail. However, many other dishes are alright. The vegetarian options are in fact, relatively good by Hungarian standards-- the criteria for assessment being: a dish not consisting entirely of pickled veg or delicious, delicious, fried cheese.
The CEU Caf is fine if you're on a budget-- for between 700 and 1000 forints you can load up your tray with 3 courses of bland cafeteria fare.
Doesn't sound like your cup of tea? Go a few blocks down to Roosevelt's at Roosevelt Ter for a more palatable take on cafeteria style in a mod/Ikea/urban professional atmosphere.
