Lonely Planet review for Seoul House

This place serves pretty excellent Korean food, from barbecue grills (2900Ft to 4800Ft) to kimchi (pickled spicy cabbage) dishes. Not the most atmospheric place in town and service is Pyongyang grim but, well, that makes it all very authentic.

    Stay away!

    ronnieravid does not recommend this,

Thin tea and mediocre Kimchi were followed by two disasters. The barbecued meat with vegtables (a very small portion) might have been barbecued several hours before our meal, but by dinner time it was limp and swimming in water, looking as if it was poached. The other dish - Zapche - had been warmly recommended by the waiter. A plate of glass noodles with meat (that wasn't there) and vegtables ahd received a nuclear (microwave) blast. The noodles wee glued to a solid bunch and the whole thing was served at well over boiling point. We didn't touch it and they still charged us for it, plus service (!) And no, we didn't pay for it at the end. The worst part was that they kept saying that everything was freshly made!
