Lonely Planet review for Marquis de Salade

This basement restaurant is a strange hybrid of a place, with dishes from Russia and Azerbaijan as well as Hungary. There are lots of quality vegetarian choices, too. And, by the way, it’s not just about salade.

    Scam - Don't go there

    grossen does not recommend this,

    Food was okay, but VERY pricy. You pay more than in the finest city-restaurants. Bread and other non-menu items are extremely expensive. Bill was a bit more than expected and waiter was very nervous about it - we didn't get the bill back with the change. Think we were cheated. Thank god, we didn't try the horribly expensive wine.

    Avoid this tourist rip off.

    jayr does not recommend this,

    Very bad restaurant. No beef, fish or tap water available. Waiter most unhelpful. Food cold and expensive. Most other diners complained too.
