Lonely Planet review for Spinoza Café

This attractive cafe-restaurant in the Jewish district has become a personal favourite both for meals and as a chill-out zone. The venue includes an art gallery and theatre, where concerts by the Pannónia Klezmer Band and other events take place from September to May, along with a restaurant and coffee house. There’s live music Tuesday to Saturday from around 7pm. The food is mostly Hungarian/Jewish nonkosher comfort food. Remember: the play’s the thing.

Bitter taste - two purses stolen, no goose legs for us

    tabircaa does not recommend this,

Awful experience - our friend's purse was stollen along with some other lady's purse sitting at the next table. We have waited like 45 minutes for a scarce meal pretending to be haute cuisine, but of uncertain origins. We have ordered goose leg, were told there is not available, while after us a local came and received the desired cooked bird. Maybe it was just our bad karma, but ... I cannot recommend.
