No, this is not what you risk when visiting this place. Fatál might be a tourist trap but it serves massive Hungarian meals on a fatál (wooden platter) or in iron cauldrons in three rustic rooms. And follow the rules: bring your appetite and its friends; avoid the noisy backroom; and book in advance.

    big portions

    This is a great place if your really hungry. Lots of traditional food, good service, great atmosphere. They even have a good vegiterian selection as well. The portions are huge, we made the mistake of having starters salad and main course, not one of the 8 of us managed to finish our meals.
