Belgian restaurants in Budapest

  1. A

    Mosselen

This pleasant ‘Belgian beer cafe’ in Újlipótváros serves Belgian (and some Hungarian) specialities, including its namesake, those much-loved bivalves, prepared in several different ways. There’s a wide selection of Belgian beers, including some two-dozen fruit-flavoured ones.

  2. B

    Pater Marcus

Located 50m from Chain Bridge, this basement pub-restaurant done up like a monastery is short on monks but heavy on mussels and fries. Try one of the nine flavoured Belgian beers on offer; there’s another 100 brews available by the bottle. The two-course set lunch (2100Ft) is good value.
