The Hilton chain's more central property adjoins the massive West End City Centre shopping mall and offers every type of facility and food and beverage outlet imaginable. The target here is very much the business market, with scads of meeting rooms and conference facilities and an executive floor.

Many people will be disappointed with the lobby; it's cold and sterile - and aptly apes the mall next door. But the 230 rooms scattered over four floors, though on the smallish side, are pleasantly decorated in an inoffensive, vaguely postmodern style, and bathrooms have tubs with shower as well separate shower cabins. A real plus is the roof garden that the hotel shares with the mall and is accessible from the hotel. Windows at the ends of the hallways bring in masses of light, making 'hotel corridor' less of a dirty word then it usually is in Budapest. Being a business hotel, rates are less at the weekend (Friday to Sunday).
