Lonely Planet review
Offering retro chic at its hippest, this erstwhile residence of the prime minister when Parliament sat at No 8 (as seen on the 20,000Ft note) has been refurbished but not altered substantially, with antique furnishings and modern art blending seamlessly in its eight unique guestrooms dedicated to local and international artists. A minor drawback is the lack of a lift.
The public rooms are light, breezy and enormous; one even has a piano. The hotel also offers apartments for long and short let.
Our independent authors have visited Brody House and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Southern Pest.
