Land
Bus
Buses to Kalocsa (544Ft, one hour, 45km) and Szeged (1330Ft, 2½ hours, 105km) depart at least once an hour; there are five to 10 daily departures to Mohács (605Ft, 1¼ hours, 50km), Szekszárd (544Ft, one hour, 40km), Kecskemét (1330Ft, 2½ hours, 110km) and Budapest (2060Ft, 3¾ hours, 160km) as well.
Train
The train line here links Bátaszék and Kiskunhalas; you must change at the former for Budapest (2030Ft, four hours, 190km), Szekszárd (346Ft, one hour, 40km), Pécs (1624Ft, 2¾ hours, 150km) and other points in Southern Transdanubia. From Kiskunhalas, it's impossible to get anywhere of import- ance without at least another change (the one exception is the fast train to Budapest).
