Don't let the '70s look fool you: the Museo de Arqueología e Historia de San Pedro Sula is an excellent museum that walks visitors through the changes in the Valle de Sula from the pre-Columbian era to the modern day; hundreds of well-maintained archaeological artifacts and antiques are displayed. Signage is in Spanish and English and each room has a bilingual guidebook that visitors can read for more in-depth information.
