With its lively bar, cozy restaurant (including noted vegetarian options) and comfortable and inexpensive hotel rooms, Via Via Café is a worthy stop for all visitors to Copán. In addition to the colorful atmosphere, the staff at Via Via are friendly and helpful.  Many staff members speak English, and they can help you find things to do and see in the area; some buses even depart from the café (including an inexpensive shuttle to Antigua, Guatemala). And given its close proximity to the central square and the ruins, Via Via is a must for travelers looking for a place to rest their feet or leave their packs. 

One warning: the music at the bar carries into the hotel rooms, and while it usually ends pretty early by bar standards, the noise could  be an issue for parents with small children.
