This tiny eatery 1½ blocks south of the parque central sells coffee from the family finca . You can order the standards - cappuccino, espresso and mochas - with a homemade pastries on the side. Take it to go or enjoy it at one of the gardenside tables.

Café Welchez
Although it looks like money, the Café Welchez is a relatively affordable place. Fancy pastries and frothy cappuccinos sell at just about the same prices as less high-falutin' places. So enjoy the dark wood paneling, the antique azulejo (glazed ceramic tiles) floors and the track lighting. Heck, splurge a little and get that hazelnut cappuccino shot that you've always wanted. Light meals are served as well.
