Tegucigalpa has a number of large modern malls. Multiplaza Mall, a couple of kilometers southwest of Colonia Palmira, is the best of the bunch, a sprawling complex with department stores, some twenty banks and ATMs, bookstores, Internet cafés and a movie theater.
