Utila never had much in the way of beaches, so someone finally took matters into their own hands and made one. This beach doesn't have the deep soft shoreline of a natural beach, but it's pleasant enough, with beach chairs wrapping around a small point nicely shaded by low-tangled trees. The admission fee is credited toward snorkel or kayak rental.

The main drawback is the reggaetón (hip-hop with a blend of Jamaican and Latin American influences) that blasts all day. If you're into that sort of thing, bring along your funky moves and be as cool as you can possibly be.
