I am a U.S. Citizen and my 90 day tourist visa has expired in Guatemala. My wife and newborn will stay behind in Guatemala as a friend and I travel to Honduras to reset the visa and return back to Guatemala to my family. I have done some research and traveling 4-5 hrs to Honduras will be the most economical way to get me back to my family in the least amount of time.
The question is: How long will I need to stay in Honduras? Information is limited and I have read that some border agents…
My friend and I are currently in Esteli, Nicaragua. We want to go to Honduras in 3 days by chicken bus/ shuttle.
We just got told that we have to go all the way back to Managua to catch a shuttle to the capital of Honduras, but that just sounds ridiculous to me.
Surely there is a shuttle service from Esteli/ Somoto or even the boarder town that we can catch ? We normally travel with chicken buses, but have heard a few too many stories about the drivers getting shot and getting targeted…
I'm looking at getting my PADI certification possibly in Roatan, however the only period I'm free is September and October. How would it be dive/weather wise during this period? Thanks!
My wife and I are flying into San Pedro Sula 3/27 after midnight. We want to take an early bus towards Tegucigalpa with an overnight stop at the D&D Brewery and lodge. I'm having trouble planning a bus/taxi route. We need assistance with bus and stop as well as where to grab a taxi. I'll need the reverse to get back to a bus station towards Tegucigalpa. My wife prefers Hedman Alas. Thanks

Just a quick question as Im planning my upcoming trip. Planning on going from La Ceiba to Copan. Unfortunately, I will be carrying a large (65L) backpack. Can I just use the buses and will my bag be safe in the luggage compartment, or is it better to use some sort of tourist shuttle?
