Sogebank, Scotiabank and Unibank are the most useful for travelers, as long as you’re exchanging US dollars cash. All attract long queues, however, so an equally good alternative is to change money at a supermarket, such as Caribbean, Big Star or Eagle, most of which have dedicated counters. Midrange hotels and above will normally change money, but check the rates first. At the bottom of the rank are the street money­changers, often to be found in the vicinity of the large post offices.
