Lonely Planet review for Monoloco
An old-time tourist hangout (take that as a recommendation or a warning), this place serves up a good blend of comfort foods and local dishes, as well as ice-cold beers in a relaxed environment.

You'd have to be a crazy monkey...
missyatsea recommends this,
Monoloco is South of Central Park. In the evenings, it's not hard to find, just follow all the gringos to the place playing loud music, in English. The beer is cold, the food is good, but it will cost about as much as being in the U.S. The service is awful, but probably because the place is packed. It's pretty much the Guatemalan equivalent of a Hard Rock Cafe, they even have expensive t-shirts. I'd reccommend it only if you have been out of the U.S. for a while and want a little taste of home or have a desire for some amazing loaded nachos.
