Lonely Planet review
Innovatively resurrected from the remains of the sprawling Santo Domingo monastery, this is Antigua's premier lodging. The 128 rooms and suites are of an international five-star standard, while the grounds retain their colonial splendor, dotted with archaeological relics and featuring a large swimming pool, several fine restaurants, shops and five museums. The Dominican friars never had it so good. Prices go down from September to November and up during weekends.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Casa Santo Domingo and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Antigua.
