Lonely Planet review
Some hostels just work, for no apparent reason. This one skimps on just about everything from kitchen access to hang out areas, but still turns out to be one of the most popular and happening hostels in town.
The Black Cat comes into its own when it comes to meeting people (which is, after all, the whole point of a hostel). And with eight beds per room, you get plenty of opportunities to rub shoulders. The movie room is one bonus - comfy sofas, a big-screen TV and hundreds of DVDs to choose from. Out the front there's a bar that hosts what is probably the most happening happy hour in town, and where good, filling breakfasts (included in the price) are served.

Along with the comforts of modern and clean facilities, our hostel also offers free breakfast, internet and a movie room with a wide array of classic and recent movies-all courtesy of the house. And of course, for our guests we have a happy hour in the bar every night.Located in Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, our accommodation comprises of a house with three patios, three levels and a total os 14 bedrooms. 6 of those have a private bathroom and the rest of them have showers and shared bathrooms.
