Hello everyone. I am planning on traveling to Aleppo Syria. I am thinking of going at the end of March beginning of April 2010. I will be a solo female traveler from the US and I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am hoping to maybe meet others that might be traveling there during the same time as me.

Hi Sting,
I'm coming to Aleppo at the beginning of January 2010. I've contacted the development project there, as I'm trying to build up my work experience in international development, I'm hoping I'll be helping out voluntarily. Have you been involved with the project?
Can you give me some advice on what's going on and the best places to stay and visit in Aleppo?
Thanks

sting658 Hey
in Syria, there are many interesting places, it depends when you will go and how many days you have ,then I will give you the important places to cover.
Let's say 7-10 days are good for Syria, 2 in Aleppo(castle-souks-khans) 2 in Damascus(old city-museums-day trips around) and rest in between 1 at least in Palmyra .4 months ago · report
