Advice for woman travelling alone in India and Nepal
hello!
I am a 27 year old female leaving in January to travel and work in Northeast India and Nepal for about 1 year. This is my first experience abroad and have so many questions. If anyone has travelled these areas before I would love the opportunity to start up a conversation, ask a lot of questions and get experienced, honest advice....thank you!!

kingtanti I just returned from the Khumbu region of Nepal. There were more single women trekking, than single men. I met some great people, along the way. You are never really alone. I would reccomend you hire a trekking service. I used www.himalayanglacier.com. Feel free to contact me by email if I can answer any questions! matjonesphotography@yahoo.com

one hike together?
I am looking for people for travelling together for a while. I am travelling from November to January around India. I am interested in to Nationalparks, Tiger Reserve, Wildlife Sanctuary, trekking, Kultur, and People. I wood like to go to Nepal: Kathmandu, Pokhara and to
India: Goa, Kerala….(south) Arunachal Pradesh, West-Bengalen, Assam (north east India).
I am also Interested in Bhutan, Sikkim, Bangladesh an and I don’t wont to spend a lot of mony.
So, if you think there is a possibility that you cross my way, if you like to travel together, if you like to do the same things like me or if you already have been to some of these places or know other ones…. I will be happy if you give me an H E L L O ;)
gopalmagar I can let you know if you wanna ask about Kathmandu and Pokhara...

daveji I can certainly recommend that you go to Bardia National Park in West Nepal. It is much quieter than other national parks in Nepal and your chances of seeing a tiger are greater. You can travel from here on to parts of India such as Delhi. Check out www.wildlifeparadiseresort.com - this is the beautiful lodge where I regularly stay. Happy travels!
Anyone interested to visit Nepal in year 2009
