When more than one person travelling together, you may want to swap a few key pieces of clothing between the bags so that each person has a few key pieces of clothing in each of the bags – that way if your luggage gets lost everyone will still have something to wear until it’s sorted out – that assuming you won’t be so unlucky to find ALL of your luggage has gone astray...

spaceone Did anyone ever really had lost luggage? Maybe you need to tag your bags properly and also always, always double check the airline tag at the check in counter to make sure it is tagged to your destination. Never lost luggage yet and been to over 86 countries, which means lots of international and domestic flights.
danielth Yep Iv had lost luggage it happens quite often, most of the people I know have had theirs lost. The airlines tend to send it to you the next day or so but it can be a bit of a nightmare if you dont know where you are staying that night.
Its also a good idea if someone manages to steal a suitcase or bag of yours if you are in a group

overit2 I lost baggage from Alaska to Austriala we had a transfer in LA and the lost it there. We got it back 8 weeks later. It took them that long to find it.
