venessap King George Island, Antarctica.
markbroadhead It used to be New York, and if the numbers came up I might revert to it again, but at the moment I'm thinking Berlin.
cambodiasue Paris.
remelila London. I know everyone says it's a crap place to live, but I've always wanted to give it a go.
imogenb Just one? St Petersburg. The most beautiful place I've been too, and I love the thought of seeing a real Russian winter. All that snow, and those beautiful, crystalline freezing, sunny days.
lou_wurm Easy! Berlin is my favourite city in the world second only to London. I'd live in an amazing loft apartment and live on bockwurst and beer being really arty.
remelila - London is awesome. You don't realise how good it is until you leave it. Its surprisingly clean, friendly and a proper 24 hr city.
remelila Good to hear, lou_wurm, thanks. I still hope to get there one day. I grew up in NYC and rather miss living in a proper 24-hour city, actually.
lou_wurm i was in Bruges and Brussels at the weekend and as I stepped off the Eurostar at St Pancras, I sniffed that familiar fume-filled air and it was such a good smell. (Bruges has smelly drains and Brussels stinks of urine). Londoners only complain because we don't know how lucky we are! Plus its in our nature.
spaceone Sydney, it might help me to realize it is not that far away after all (North America)
amandarob I think i'd choose Paris as my bse and then I could also travel more of Europe. I lived in London for a year and never went to Paris..CRAZY I KNOW. I just never thought I wouldn't get there.
dmcclurg Salt lake city, Utah. Snowboarding in the Wasatch Mountains is where you'd find me.
blairg I'd say New York - there is just so much going on there. Amazing food, great bands playing every night, incredible museums. I can't imagine ever being bored if I lived in NYC.
cmi Probably Buenos Aires: markets in San Telmo, eating in Palermo, relaxing in Tigre, dancing tango on the streets, enjoying asados on an oldtown rooftop with looooaaads of meat!
minnesota_trekker It would be such a tough decision. For me right now...probably either London or Tokyo. Of course, this could change after I brush my teeth....
