Adventure Travel

Some people love adventure travel (hiking, etc.) because of the solace -- getting away from it all where they can find themselves. Others enjoy the teamwork, and learning about others outside of their usual environment. Which do you prefer?

cambodiasue Solitude's sweet solace... I find when I'm outside my context of origin, I better appreciate where I'm from which helps me embrace with joy where I am.

ronaldt They both have their benefits. Having a few fellow travellers to exprience and reminisce 'that' journey with is always special. Athough conquering an adventure on your own is something that is always fufilling and inspiring.

chrisboden There's something great about being able to share a travel experience with someone you know and having it always as a common memory

brianbatchelor Iam about to travel on my own for the first time and Iam hoping to discover some stuff about myself and to "grow" asa person because I won't have that comfort of having another person to help find some place when I'm lost or to decide where to eat!

minnesota_trekker I love both. It largely depends on who you're with though of course.
