Hi everyone!
I was planning on meeting up with my friend in Australia this January but her plans have changed as she needs to come back to have back surgery:( Anyways, I've wanted to travel forever (I'm 24) and was originally planning on going to Thailand by myself as I don't have anyone who can come with me. My parents are freaked out of course and they would rather me travel with someone. I was just checking out Contiki Tours but looked at an Asian Trip for 25 days and it's almost $4000!?! Insane! It says it costs $150 per day and I know for a fact that you can spend aboiut $22 a day because my sisters have gone and so have all my friends. It's a money issue..I would like to have to spend only $3000-$4000 including flights. Anyways, my question is first of all..is it safe to travel to Thailand by myself as a female or should I go somewhere else that is equally as cheap and might be safer?? Any suggestions or tips would be welcomed!! Thanks!!
