Hola muchachos - hi everyone
I would like to travel in a hammock by boat to Iquitos in northern Peru. Is there anyone else who would like to do that arround the 10th of octobre 2010? It would be much easier to travel together - about taking care of the backpapcks and so on....
I´m 30, female, used to travel, speaking german, english, french and spanish and I´m very curious to see the jungle...

Hello everyone, I am a 24 year old Canadian also planning on traveling solo arround parts of South America. Flying into Buenos Aires in mid november. I plan on spending about a week in BA exploring the city and experiencing the night-life and then heading down to patagonia and the lake distict for a few weeks (or more) of trekking.
I don't mind travelling alone, but would definatly be interested in joining others heading down to patagonia arround the same time. Any tips or recommendations regarding backpacking through patagonia would be appreciated.

For anyone interested in taking Spanish classes while traveling through Buenos Aires, check out our website - www.oneononeargentina.com.
I just arrived in Buenos Aires three weeks ago from Montana with little to no Spanish skills...I´ve been taking 12 hours a week for 2 wks and those few hours (but one on one!) have REALLY helped me. I think South America's many traveling opportunities will seem less daunting if I know the language...

Hey all. I am a 22 year old from Fort Collins, CO, USA and am planning on heading out for a solo trip around parts of South America. I plan to start in Buenos Aires for a few days at the end jan/beginning of feb and head south to Patagonia while the weather is warm enough. Then up along the Andes through parts of Chile, the Bolivia, Peru and end my journey in Equador. Anyway, i plan on trekking in Patagonia and elseware and was going to purchase a hammock through E.N.O. I have heard that they are great for backpacking but my only concern was the possibility of lack of trees or objects to suspend from. Just looking for some insight. I am planning this alone but if you are interested in meeting up or joining for portions let me know.
Cheers,
Jeremy

caitphy I just came back from a 3 week trip from NW Argentina and ended in Lima, Peru. In between we went to Bolivia- and I the landscape here is incredible. There is a great 4 day jeep tour you can do from Torre Hotel in Tupiza and end up in Uyuni. We also went to Cochabamba and Copacabana and the Isla del Sol- all were incredible. I higly recommend.
I have been to Uruguay- but only Montevideo and Colonia. Both are good, but personally I think there is more to do and see in Bolivia.

VIAJES POR SUDAMÉRICA, diciembre 2010 y enero 2011
¡Hola a tod@s!
