I like the idea of your group very much! Please don't lose hope on getting more memebers and experiencing more dialogue.
I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and I had a great experience working with the Global Partnership for Afghanistan. This past spring the Army helped pay for the planting of more than 2,500 trees in Logar , Afghanistan.

Often during our travels we can happen to meet people who work in small humanitarian or environmental associations. By spending time with them we can learn a lot about the country we are visiting.The meeting is a real exchange which is enriching on both informational and human levels.
