Experience Music Project Many may find it desperately uncool, but this place rocked - hard! If you like classic rock (especially of the Hendrix variety), be prepared to spend at least half a day here.

vivekw To expand on my post: I'm embarrassed by how much fun I had at this place. I expected to like it ironically; I loved it - from the old Kingsmen gear to the music studio. Too much fun.
suzywatusi No reason to be embarrassed Vivek! I once found myself screaming uncontrollably at a concert by a Beatles tribute band wearing the most ill-fitting mop top wigs you can imagine. That's uncool. This museum looks ace - where is it?
vivekw It's in Seattle, right in the Space Needle precinct. Home of grunge and half-decent coffee. They have some great Nirvana and Foo Fighters gear torn up from concerts. Sadly, upon leaving, I couldn't get the PUSA song "Lump" outta my head.
I should mention that the photograph is originally from goseattle.com, licensed via creative commons.
djebru I loved this museum too - especially the guitar history section. Who knew that the Flying V was invented in 1958! It looks so 80s.
nthorpe Where is it?
vivekw There's more to this thread than pretty pictures, nthorpe! See, for example, the post two above yours. :)
