Ride the wild surf...in Madrid! OK, so Madrid's not exactly Hawaii, and I've seen more tidal action in my bath tub, but since when did that ever stop anyone? Spain's got a healthy surf music scene, and this weekend, the SURFORAMA FESTIVAL celebrates the sound of reverb-drenched guitars and thundering drums in all their tsunami-like glory! The action takes place at super-cool venue Gruta 77, and features US band Slacktone, UK legends the Rapiers, and loads of Spain's finest. Potential highlight? A tribute to the man with the golden guitar, Dick Dale, by Las Coronas' Fernando Pardo and the always-entertaining Imperial Surfers. Like wow, wipeout! http://www.festivalsurforama.es/index.html
