**What's the worst live gig you've ever seen, why was it so bad, and where was it????**
I've seen a fair bit of crapola in my time but the band that springs to mind faster than any other is REM. Saw 'em at the Perth Concert Hall in 1989 and the soul-sapping sense of lethargy they inspired in me remains crystal clear in my memory. Talk about over-rated: that band is like piped supermarket muzak. Didn't help that the concert was seated - sitting during a gig doesn't help anybody's cause....
