Hi there, I've just joined and look forward to hearing and discussing my crazy beautiful india. I spent 6 months there at the end of 2007 and plan on returning for an extended stay again next year 2010. She is the most amazing country and the people are truly beautiful. I travelled and worked as a female on my own mostly on my out of town adventures. This time I plan to travel and volunteer for hopefully another 6-12 months.

debjaniiris Hi there its good to know that u r planning a trip to India in 2010. I m glad to know that u find India n Indians amazing n beautiful cos they truly r. Most people tend to visit common places like Goa,Kerala and Rajasthan. I dnt know which part of India u plan to visit but do try to go to places in northern India as well as the Himalayas. North-East is still mostly unexplored by foreigners mainly because of permit issues but try to visit the wildlife sanctuaries in this part also.
lucymacgee Hey :) I am going to India in March 2010 for three months.. I am planning to meet with a friend for some of it but alot of it I will be travelling alonethe time will be travelling alone. I have never travelled alone before and am quite nervous! Any tips to help get settled in?xx
