I love Spain, have done a lot of exploring there, have thought of living there but don't think I can do the winters any more, i live in Tenerife which I also love with the added bonus that I get the warmth all year round.

    Living Abroad

I'm also planning on living abroad in summer 2010. I decided to study spanish in Salamanca and I was wondering if anybody had any advice on what do do afterwards. I was thinking of maybe getting licensed to teach and heading to Madrid. Any advice or opinions?

travel to spain for 2010. need your advice.

Hey guys, my best friend and I are going to live for 3 months in spain during the summer of 2010. Neither of us have lived there before, but we were looking at Andalucia and fell in love. Do you know what our best options are for getting jobs? Is that possible and/or rare that we'd find one? Do you have any feedback on Jobs in Andalucia or in Spain in general?

melissahowey I was looking into the area too. I really like Granada for its location and moorish influence but once I found that it attracts a ton of tourists daily, I decided against it.

    La Boqueria

La Boqueria The best way to overcome the mid day city heat -hide away in Mercat De La Boqueria for a fresh fruit juice.

    Whats your favourite Spansh City?

For me it has to be Barcelona for the randomness of Gaudi's Park Guell, the secret alleys or El Born and the tasty fresh fruit juices at the La Boqueria.

chrisinspain For me it's Madrid... just because there is so much to do there, and I love the Reina Sofia!

sophie_ana I live in Spain. I am on Valium and anti depressants. I have the prescription copy. I am going back to the UK for 2 weeks. Will I be ok taking my medication through customs?

sophie_ana Has anyone stayed at the Las Vegas hotel in Benidorm, old town. If you have, what was it like. Also what is it like for parking. We are going there for Christmas.

Passionate locals and sumptuous fare. Cutting edge art and beach side bliss. Spain has it all in spades.
