I'm planning / hoping to go travelling in April/May next year, but can't decide where to go at the moment. Any suggestions? As this will be my first time alone, I want to go for a max of 3 weeks to see what it's like, as I'm a bit nervous.

cjohnson627 As cliche as it can be i think that asia is definately the easiest place to meet individuals travellers. If this is your first travel alone experience you may want to skip the harsher travel climates of Cambodia and India and go for a road more travelled like Vietnam and Thailand. Just because lots of people go to these places does not mean that you will not enjoy it.
