Hi, I was planning a trip to the Netherlands with my Dutch boyfriend and now he can't go. I've got a ticket to Brussels (his mother lives in south ND) and want to save a trip to ND for when I can go with him. But I'm still going to Europe. I know I want to get back to Prague, so I'm planning on heading East, generally. Any suggested cities along the way? Pretty much just Germany in between, but I'm thinking about cutting south, perhaps. Not sure. I have about two weeks.

I obviously did something wrong.... I pressed post without writing anything. (I didn't see the writing box) anyway.... solo travel is all I have ever done, but to do so, it takes a self motivation that I am struggling with. I get right down to it, and... blaaaaa. Once I get going I am fine... it's the getting the rear in gear that's the problem... -

I LOVE tavelling in my own! Its SO liberating... you can meet people to chat with and hang out with if you want to, but have the freedom to please yourself. All the travel I have done in the past few years has been done alone, so much so that I am very nervous about the fact that I have booked to go on a tour in Egypt for my next trip. I am sure it will be great, but... solo travel rocks... (well thats my opinion anyway:)

But as I am on a tour for once in my life, I have no idea exactly where I will be on which date, and obviously not the normal freedom I would normally have, so I guess at this point I need to thank you for your offer of hooking up, but say I don't think it will be possible on this occaision, but wish you are great trip!:)

Hi everyone. Am planning my first ever solo travel and am really excited. Its going to be a big step for me, but I am sure than as soon as I am out of the UK I will be fine. Am planning on flying to Istanbul, then travelling to Syria, Lebanon, Jordan maybe Israel, Cairo, Jeddah, Oman, Dubai, Mumbai, Madras, Thailand, China and Japan. Will probably be around June 2010 nothing is set in stone and neither are the destination, they are just places I really want to go to. Anyone else doing the same??

I'm planning on going solo to Africa and Asia next year. I don't want to do a set tour as I want the freedom of taking my time in places I like and going off track a bit, but I like the idea of having a bit of security. I know there is the Baz bus in South Africa that I think would be perfect, but does anyone know if there is anything similar in Asia?
