London has several stations with remarkable architecture, but Liverpool Street Station and its ornate painted ironwork is my personal favorite. Even with all of the modern renovations and mini Marks & Spencers that block some of the best views, it still retains an old-timey charm.

This is a group for those who prefer to take the more leisurely and scenic route when travelling, a place to talk about the world's great railway trips - those you've done and plan to do. Trans-siberian, Trans-Mongolian, Great Pacific, Orient Express, Royal Scotsman and some more adventurous, off the beaten rails adventures. Aso post pictures of your favourite stations, survival tips or tell us some anecdotes about your most memorable train experiences.
