We stayed a the Linda Guest House which just rents a few rooms or a self contained casita on the property. It was very economical at just US$30 for a double with hot water showers, lake vista on the beach and TV/DVD with kitchen access. Really cozy, great informative company, nearby tourist activities, very clean and they even cooked for us.
