Where am I from? Well, that's kind of hard to answer. I'm American but currently living and working in Amman, Jordan. Past expat residencies have included Libya, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Syria.... the first three with kids of varying ages who hated the experience at the time but later recanted and expressed disappointment with the shallowness of relationships in their home country. Being expats gives us all unique perspectives on life and what's really important in life, n'est-ce pas?

Why "Express"? It just sounded cool.

aprilreding Hi! I'm a Canadian living in Syria. I agree that being an expat does put things in perspective. How long are you there for? I'm here for good if all goes well.
